Our top picks for spots because they offer privacy, beautiful backdrops, and also protection from wind or sun. We consider large forest reserves as well as beaches, parks and to be the best as there's plenty of room for movement.

 

The first step is to select the kind of location you want to use:

1. Bush setting

This is the most requested option for our clients. If your family likes to camp, hike, go for walks, or simply go outdoors We know a great area of bushland that is full of amazing photo opportunities. You won't meet anyone else around, making it easier to be yourself and relax in the bush.

2. Park

Think of lawns, flower beds and rows of trees. It could be the right place for your children if they like running around or playing on the lawns that are mowed. Do not go to playgrounds though. You'll have better photos if your kids are enjoying themselves and not on the task to be completed.

 

3. Beach

There are many great beaches in Las Vegas and if your family loves the sand, then this is where a Las Vegas family photographer should be taking your photos. Since there is typically light shade, beach photography are best taken in the early morning or late afternoon in order to take advantage of the stunning, pleasing lighting.

 

You can find an area that is dog-friendly or with grasslands nearby, you can find a pier or beach boxes to create interest.

4. Home

Your home is perfect for newborn portraits (with the heat turned up) as well as an alternative if your family portrait session cannot be moved - for instance. attending a family reunion or for a special occasion. We do prefer outdoor options however unless you have an incredible garden and large home, home-based sessions may be difficult to get rid of the background. Home sessions are great for families because the children are already at ease and don't have any worries about the weather.
